I have decided to write a bit about some games that I've been playing for a while now. With this I hope to get you excited to play at least one of these games! So, in no particular order or preference, let's get started!
1. MONSTER HUNTER STORIES
What a fantastic game! I don't know the sales numbers for Monster Hunter Stories in the West but I hope it ' doing well because it deserves it. Eventually, I'll make a full review of it someday but right now I just want to explain why I'm playing it.
I got this game on launch day and I'm still not bored with it simply because of the online mode. Since I've done almost everything there is to do in the game, I spend most of the time battling against other people online now. It's really fun to build a Monstie and see how he does in an actual fight! Also, you never know what kind of crazy build your opponent has and that is very thrilling! If you have Monster Hunter Stories I urge you to try the online mode, you'll have a blast once you get the hang of it!
2. POKÉMON GOLD
Of course, I'm playing this! Who isn't though? Ever since Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver got released on the Nintendo 3DS's Virtual Console everyone has been going crazy about Gen 2 again. However, I don't share the same enthusiasm since a while ago I played through Pokémon Crystal. This has made me progress slowly in the game but I'm still enjoying it!
In the very first day I got the game I was lucky enough to be with my brothers which means that we were able to make a couple trades. I even managed to evolve my Poliwhirl into a Politoed! And of course, we also traded our starters between us so we could get all of them right away. Although my play-through has been slow, thanks to this trades it has become quite unique and I can't wait to see how it ends!
3. SUPER METROID
How have I longed to play Super Metroid! If you've seen my post about the SNES Classic you'll know that this was the game I was the most hyped to play. And I can say that the hype lived to my expectations. The game is superb. When I started playing and saw that there was an in-game map I almost cried! It seems ridiculous to be hyped over a map but this means that I don't have to draw my own maps or get one online! Despite this, I've been stuck in the past days with no clue of what to do or where to go... But I'll keep exploring every nook and cranny of that game until I'm able to progress forward! It wouldn't be a true Metroid game if this didn't happen once in a while!
